Wind Watch is an independent dashboard for situational awareness. It is not an official weather, marine safety, navigation or emergency service.

No safety guarantee

Wind readings, station availability, graphs and regional presets may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, unavailable or wrong. Do not rely on Wind Watch as the sole source for any boating, sailing, aviation, travel or safety decision.

Use official sources

Always cross-check official marine forecasts, nowcasting, Coastguard, MetService, Maritime NZ, local harbourmaster notices and direct observations before making safety-critical decisions.

Public third-party data

Wind Watch presents public station data from third-party sources. We do not control those sources, their measurement quality, uptime, update cadence or continued availability.

No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wind Watch and its operators accept no responsibility or liability for losses, damage, injury, delay, missed warnings or decisions made using this service.

Fair use

Do not scrape, overload, probe, attack or attempt to bypass the service. The dashboard is intended for normal human use.
